The Board of Directors of AIA Miami is pleased to announce a reduction in local membership dues for the 2027 cycle. Local dues will be $270 for Architect members and $135 for Associate members, reflecting our commitment to keeping membership accessible while continuing to deliver meaningful professional value.
This adjustment was made with the full cost of AIA membership in mind. By lowering the local portion, AIA Miami aims to keep total annual dues—across the local, state, and national components—under $800 for our members. At a time when firms and individual practitioners continue to manage rising costs, the board believes it is important to reduce financial barriers wherever we can.
The dues reduction is also a reflection of thoughtful financial stewardship. AIA Miami remains focused on advancing the programs, advocacy, continuing education, networking, and community engagement members rely on, while managing chapter resources responsibly and investing in the priorities that have the greatest positive impact.
We are grateful for the talent, leadership, and participation our members bring to AIA Miami. As we look ahead to 2027, we are proud to take this practical step to support our members and strengthen an inclusive, connected, and resilient architectural community.
