These awards recognize the hard work and career advancement of employees at Miami Dade and Broward county firms. We also take time to celebrate those who have achieved licensure within the last 12 months. We hope to see your office represented at this year’s reception.

Join the AIA Miami & AIA Ft. Lauderdale chapters in celebrating South Florida’s next generation of Emerging Professionals, up-and-coming Associates, and the firms that best support them. Awards include Rising Star of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Project Manager of the Year, and Best Place to Work.

WHAT ARE THE EP AWARDS?
The Emerging Professionals Awards recognize excellence in the Architecture profession by architects who have achieved licensure within the past ten years and Associates or AIAS members currently pursuing licensure. It is hosted annually by the AIA Miami and the AIA Fort Lauderdale Chapters of the American Institute of Architects.

WHO CAN APPLY?
The submittals are open to architecture students, architectural design professionals, and architects licensed less than 10 years, and are open to both AIA/AIAS Members and Non-Members. Entries can be submitted by individuals or by firms who reside/work in Broward or Miami-Dade Counties.

Submittals are accepted until 11:59pm on April 10th, 2026
