RIVA Prize 2026
The RIVA Prize for Sustainable Design celebrates and honors outstanding architectural achievements and recognizes architects and designers across the United States who demonstrate a deep commitment to sustainability, innovation, and environmental responsibility. Presented in partnership with RIVA Spain, the RIVA Prize recognizes projects that demonstrate inventive, integrated, and contextually responsive approaches to sustainability in dynamic climatic environments. The award is open to AIA members and studios across the United States, unlike the other AIA Miami design award categories, which are restricted to the local chapter. Essentially, it is the ‘Best in Show’ for the evening – the Jury’s selection as the most compelling project among all entries in all categories.
