Project Designer

Our in-house capabilities include architecture, planning and permitting, interior design, construction, landscape design. Project Designers work directly with firm principals, Director of Architecture and project architects, assisting in project design, documentation, and delivery. Prepare detailed drawings of architectural designs and plans for buildings and structures according to specifications provided by senior staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

1. Proficient in current versions of Revit/Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
2. Ability to actively engage in technical conversations with design staff, ownership, and consultants.
3. Able to produce construction documents from conceptual plans and elevations with supervision.
4. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural consultants and have the ability to design and document these systems for projects.
5. Obtain and assemble data to complete architectural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary.
6. Draw detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings, and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data
7. Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to lists of materials.
8. Researching and maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials.
9. Providing clarification to construction staff and subcontractors by helping them interpret design specifications.
10. Ability to maintain files for use in the structural design drawings and coordinate and review for accuracy.
11. Maintain the project folders and information for projects assigned including correspondence, meeting notes, memorialized drawing sets and computer files.
