As climate disasters threaten the wellbeing of people and the planet, the need to reduce CO2 emissions is ever more urgent. Zero Carbon buildings reverse the effects of climate change and support the wellbeing of local economies while meeting the needs of owners and occupants.

In this 1-hour Zero Carbon course, you’ll be introduced to carbon in the built environment, the benefits of Zero Carbon buildings, and building energy and material use climate impacts. You’ll discover key planning and design considerations for reducing the embodied and operational carbon impacts of your projects that’ll support the project’s climate action goals. Examples of real-life projects that have achieved Zero Carbon certification will give you the guidance and confidence needed to commit to a Zero Carbon future.
