Introduction to Robotic 3D Printing With Luis Pacheco & Bhavleen Kaur presented by FIU
July 13 - July 15
10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Description
WORKSHOP Description
This intensive workshop will center on learning, designing, and utilizing robotic arms for 3D printing. The program will encompass a comprehensive overview of the fundamental principles of industrial robotic arms, robot anatomy, robotic motion, safety guidelines, basics of end-of-arm tooling, and robotic programming, with a specific emphasis on developing 3D printing toolpaths. Furthermore, the workshop will introduce the key concepts of the workflow involved in integrating extruders for rapid prototyping and new fabrication techniques.
Participants of the workshop will gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts and advanced knowledge of KUKA|prc and KUKA Robot workflows for 3DP, as well as the strategies for creating custom robotic toolpaths. During the three-day intensive workshop, participants will be expected to conceptualize, program, and execute complete robotic programs through the software. This will involve creating, exporting, and 3D printing with the robot.
This workshop offers a unique opportunity for individuals to learn or enhance their expertise in utilizing robotic arms for 3D printing, and to apply their newfound knowledge in real-world applications.
