CSI South Florida Chapter presents the History and Fundamentals of Specifications
Presenter: Steven Olitsky, AIA, CCS, CSI, a Registered Architect and Certified Construction Specifier with more than 35 years of experience serving firms in Pennsylvania, Washington DC area, California and Florida. He has prepared specifications for more than 75 architectural firms in both the private and public sectors. Steven has worked on projects for many types of clients including custom single family residences and multi-family apartments, and condominiums, educational, R&D office and manufacturing complexes, zoological park, theme park rides, hospitals, child care facilities, hotels, gaming facilities, and religious institutions. Projects are located throughout the US, Caribbean and the Middle East. Steven has served at several Board positions for CSI Chapters in No. Virginia, San Diego, and was Chapter President of The Orange County , California 2010-2011. Steven has been a lead presenter for CSI CDT & CCS preparatory exam classes for Virginia and California Chapters
This presentation reviews the importance of providing quality Construction Documents which define the rights, roles and responsibilities between all parties of the construction of a project.
