After receiving a request for a declaratory statement earlier this year, the Board of Architecture and Interior Design (BOAID) immediately went into rulemaking to clarify that electronic signing and sealing may be completed using software “capable of verification within the native software and without use of a third-party.” The rule went into effect July 7.
